Purvi vibhag is part and parcel of East Delhi Sewa Bharati.The area of this vibhag is in Delhi the Trans Yamuna,G.T.road and U.P.Boarder NCR Noida.This area is divided in 4 zilas.Zilas are divided in18 Nagars.In each nagars there are sewa bastiyan.In these bastis there are Sewa Kenders.These are the actual working field of Sewa Bharti.We organized these by Vibhag Samiti.Zila Samitis, Nagar Samiti and basti parmukhs.The members of these samitis are all gives their working Honorary(Sewa Varti).In the sewa kinder the child, men and womenof the basti are trainds in Computer Child Rite Stitching Mahandi Penting etc. by trained teachers. medical aid, education awareness & self employment opportunities.
In 1979, veteran social worker and the then RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Balasaheb Deoras addressed a mammoth gathering of volunteers at Ambedkar Stadium, Delhi, on April 8, 1978, where he called upon them to start service activities among the neglected sections of the society. He asked the volunteers to raise self-respect of the socially and economically deprived people of India. This speech is considered to be the initiating first step that led to starting the Seva Bharati.Although the volunteers of RSS and other allied organisations had been informally working for the betterment of the under-privileged, it was opined that a formal structure would help coordinate the service programs all over the country.
